It's never an easy decision to either pivot or close a business, particularly when it's a healthy, growing, profitable venture started from scratch. The purpose of the business has always been to provide 100% of profits to women and girls living in poverty through GlobalGiving UK, and to date over 10,000 women and girls have benefited from the funds raised. This week I was honoured to have received an invitation to share a copy of my book and research on women's empowerment with the Prime Minister's Office at No 10 Downing Street.
As of 2019 there is still not a single country in the world where women have full equality with men and so it meant a lot to have the opportunity to get my research and calls to action in to the hands of the top team responsible for running the country.
